Michel Laurin MBA: Bilingual trainer, lecturer in marketing at HEC Montreal
Michel Laurin has accumulated 30 years of experience in the management of sales and marketing to major accounts for IBM Canada Ltd. in Montreal and Toronto. His sales successes and experiences led him to take on the role of consultant to IBM US in Raleigh, North Carolina, from 1992 to 2002.
Concurrently holding and active in two distinct positions, he was also, from 1997, in charge of courses teaching marketing at HEC Montreal.
His courses in the MBA program, in French and English, are largely about sales and negotiating skills, sales in a business context, and marketing management.
He also coaches the strategic marketing teams for HEC Montreal in the inter-university competition Happening Marketing.
In addition to his teaching functions, Michel Laurin is also a consultant for firms in the fields of grocery distribution, automobiles and telecommunications.
